Injuries

Injuries cases we have handled in the past:

Amputations

An amputation is one of the most debilitating and life altering injuries an individual can sustain. The amputation of a limb is extremely physically painful.  Individuals who undergo amputations often experience chronic neuropathic pain, which is pain caused by nerve damage to the site of the amputation.

Spine Injuries

Injuries to the cervical and lumbar spine are very common and range in severity.  The spinal column and spinal cord serve as the nerve center and “junction box” for the human body.  Any sort of trauma, including twisting, jerking, or wrenching can cause the “jelly donut” like discs in the spine to bulge or herniate.

Wrongful Death

Our law firm represents clients from all walks of life.  Each case is different, which requires that our firm provide legal advice specific to each case and each circumstance.

Traumatic Brain Injuries

According to a 2007 study published in the Journal of Neurotrauma, traumatic brain injury is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the United States that disproportionately affects younger people, therefore impacting individuals in the prime of their life.

Explosion & Burn Injuries

Many of the most tragic and horrific cases our firm has handled involve severe burn injuries. The emotional and psychological impact is second only to the intense pain and suffering endured by the individual who has been severely burned.

Occupational Exposure Injuries

Every year, railroad workers are exposed to environmental conditions that result in the development of occupational diseases.  Most of the injuries acquired by railroad workers can be prevented by the railroad by providing safe working conditions.
