Practice Areas

We concentrate in the following fields of practice:

Railroad Law (FELA)

We represent railroad workers who have been injured on-the-job.  Railroad workers who are injured while working on the railroad are entitled to compensation under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA). We are experienced FELA attorneys, and we have been dedicated to representing injured railroad workers and their families nationwide for over 4 decades.

Whistleblower Law (FRSA)

Whistleblower protection prohibits railroads from retaliating against railroad workers who report an injury or safety concern. Whistleblower also protects railroad employees who follow their treating physician’s orders not to work. The time frame to file a claim is incredibly short, only 180 days.  Call our firm as soon as possible so we can determine if you have a claim and how best to protect your rights.

Maritime Law (Jones Act)

We represent maritime and offshore workers who have been injured working on any type of vessel.  Our firm has extensive experience representing maritime workers and their families who have sustained serious injuries in the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, as well as individuals hurt in Canada, Scotland, and Africa.

Motor Vehicle Accidents

We represent individuals who have been seriously injured in motor vehicle accidents caused by the negligence of others.  If you or a family member was involved in a motor vehicle accident and were injured, our firm can provide legal advice, consultation, and representation to help you recover your losses.

Personal Injury

We represent individuals who have suffered harm from an accident or injury caused by the negligent acts of others.  We also help families who have lost loved ones file wrongful death claims.  Our firm stands ready to counsel and represent you in any circumstance where you have sustained a personal injury, and we are dedicated to obtaining the full and fair compensation you are owed under the law.

Aviation Law ( FTCA)

We represent individuals nationwide who have been injured in both commercial and private aviation accidents.  The firm has also represented the families of individuals killed in mid-air collisions due to both pilot error and mistakes made by air traffic controllers in courts from Texas to Florida.

Railroad Crossing Collisions

The general public is unaware that many railroad crossings are so badly designed, by way of insufficient signage, over grown vegetation at the crossing, and dangerously short sight distances, that these crossings constitute dangerous traps.  At these crossings, even a reasonably careful motorist has insufficient time to react to an on-coming train.

Trucking Collisions

Many commercial truck drivers operate safely without any traffic mishaps.  Their top priority is to get home safely.  On the other hand, others push the limits of public safety to log in more miles to earn more money.  Sleep deprivation and unsafe operation can lead to devastating accidents on the highway.
